The Mackinac Bands of Chippewa and Ottawa Indians (Michilimackinac Anishnaabek) are Anishinaabe people that have existed and thrived for thousands of years in the Great Lakes area now known as Michigan. The Mackinac Bands is one of the oldest and largest historical groups of Odawa, Ojibwe, and Potawatomi people in Michigan.
